John P Schmoll – Non Executive Chairman
Mr Schmoll completed his executive career on his retirement in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer of Coles Myer Ltd. Prior to this he held senior corporate and professional roles in Australia and South Africa including Arthur Young and Edgars Stores Ltd (South Africa's largest apparel and home wares retailer). Since his retirement he has accepted various non-executive director positions and undertaken some executive coaching roles. Accordingly, he brings to OrotonGroup over 35 years of experience in finance, investor relations, information technology and corporate governance, primarily in the distribution and financial sectors. John is also a member of the Audit Committee and People and Organisation Committee.
Ross B Lane – Non-Executive Director
Ross Lane is the 3rd generation of the Oroton founding family and has held various positions within the consolidated entity over the past 22 years, including holding the position of Managing Director of OrotonGroup Limited from 1996 to 2006 and Chairman from 2006 to 2013.
Will Vicars - Non-Executive Director
Will Vicars is a director of Caledonia (Private) Investments Pty Limited, Caledonia Investments Pty Limited and the Caledonia Foundation Pty Ltd. Previous to that he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at NRMA Investments and later a Portfolio Manager at BT Australia. He has more than 15 years experience in a variety of financial markets and is a member of the NSW Board of the Starlight Children's Foundation and the St Luke's Hospital Foundation. Will is a member of the OrotonGroup People and Organisation Committee.
Maria Martin - Non Executive Director
Maria Martin is an experienced business person and chartered accountant and was previously a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 15 years. She has extensive audit, advisory and transactional experience across a variety of clients and industries including retail and consumer goods. Maria is an independent non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Management Committee of amaysim Australia Limited. Maria is also Chair of the OrotonGroup Audit Committee and Chair of the OrotonGroup People and Organisation Committee.

Vanessa De Bono – Group Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary
Vanessa was appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of the OrotonGroup in April 2015. Vanessa has over 23 years experience in senior financial positions in the Luxury apparel and accessories industry, including 5 years international experience in Asian markets. She started her career with Pricewaterhouse in Australia before moving to L’Oreal Luxury Group Australia where she held the position of General Manager Finance & Administration. Recently she spent 11 years with Louis Vuitton, initially as Finance Director of Louis Vuitton Oceania and her last position was Chief Financial Officer of Louis Vuitton China.
Bronwyn Sherratt - Group Human Resources Director
Bronwyn joined OrotonGroup in September 2003 and held various roles across the HR function before being appointed Group HR Manager in October 2006 and Group HR Director in October 2015. Prior to OrotonGroup, Bronwyn had several years experience in recruitment across a number of industries, including FMCG and Government. Bronwyn holds a Bachelor Degree from Sydney University with a double major in Psychology and Industrial Relations and Post Graduate Diploma in HR.
Melissa Chen - Head of Retail Operations | Oroton
Melissa was appointed Head of Retail Operations for OrotonGroup in August 2015 with responsibility for Oroton’s network of stores across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Melissa has over 12 years’ experience at Oroton having held various management and regional roles. During 2012 Melissa was based in Singapore to lead Oroton’s expansion into the overseas markets. Most recently Melissa held the position of National Retail Manager overseeing the Australian business.
Melissa holds a Business Degree from Griffith University with a double major in Human Resources and Hotel Management and a Diploma in Retail Management.
Kylie Quirke - General Manager, GAP Australia
Kylie joined OrotonGroup in 2012 and was appointed to the position of General Manager for GAP Australia in April 2016. During her time with OG, Kylie has held senior positions in retail operations, initially as National Retail Operations Manager, Oroton and most recently as National Retail Operations Manager, Gap & Brooks Brothers where she led the rollout of stores including implementing sales, training, and management strategies for both brands. Kylie has a background of senior leadership positions across retail operations, including Sportsgirl and Glassons. Her focus is on providing excellent customer service through delivery of programs based on intensive staff selection, training, development, mentoring, goal setting and achievement. Kylie attended The Australian Graduate School of Management with certification in change management and has a certified Training & Assessment qualification.
